Our Story

Built on Science. Driven by Integrity.

My Mold Inspection was founded on a simple conviction: property owners and real estate professionals deserve inspection reports they can actually rely on — not checklists, not guesswork.

Who We Are

A Decade of Rigorous Inspection

My Mold Inspection was founded over 10 years ago by a certified inspector who saw a gap in the market: most mold inspections were cursory visual checks with no scientific backing. Clients were left with vague findings and no clear path forward.

We built our practice around a different standard — one that combines systematic visual assessment with accredited laboratory analysis, and delivers findings in a written report that professionals can use. Every inspection follows the same rigorous protocol, regardless of property size or client type.

Today, we've completed over 2,400 inspections across residential and commercial properties. Our reports are trusted by real estate agents, property managers, lenders, and insurers throughout the region.

How We Work

Our Methodology

Every inspection follows the same five-step protocol — designed to leave nothing to chance and deliver findings you can act on.

01

Pre-Inspection Review

We review any available history — prior water damage, remediation records, or health concerns — before arriving on site. This shapes where we focus our attention.

02

Systematic Visual Assessment

Our inspectors work through every accessible area of the property in a structured sequence, using moisture meters, thermal imaging, and visual documentation to map conditions.

03

Scientific Sampling

Air and surface samples are collected using standardized protocols and sent to an accredited third-party laboratory. We never analyze our own samples — independence is non-negotiable.

04

Lab Analysis & Interpretation

Laboratory results are reviewed in context — comparing indoor to outdoor baselines, identifying species of concern, and assessing whether levels represent a health or structural risk.

05

Comprehensive Reporting

Every finding is documented in a written report with photographs, lab data, and clear recommendations. Reports are formatted for professional use and delivered within 48–72 hours.

Independent Laboratory Analysis — Always

We never analyze our own samples. All air and surface samples are sent to an AIHA-accredited third-party laboratory. This independence is what makes our reports credible to lenders, insurers, and legal proceedings.
